Terms of Service

Welcome to Badjo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Badjo ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the Badjo mobile application and the website at badjo.app (together, the "Service").

By downloading, installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. The "Spicy" and "Hardcore" game modes contain adult content (sexual themes, profanity) and are intended only for users aged 18 and older. By selecting one of these modes you confirm you are at least 18.

If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your country, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.

2. The Service

Badjo is a party-game application that provides curated challenges across five game modes (Intro, At The Bar, Spicy, Family Pack, Hardcore). The "Intro" mode is free to play; the other modes are unlocked by Badjo Premium, an auto-renewable subscription.

The Service does not require sign-up. We identify your device using a random installation identifier — there is no account creation, password or email registration required to play.

3. Subscriptions (Badjo Premium)

Badjo Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription with weekly, monthly and yearly options. Pricing is shown inside the app at the moment of purchase and may vary by region.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
  • If you delete your Badjo account, your subscription continues to be billed by Apple/Google until you cancel it separately in the store.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to receive subscription status updates from these stores.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, infrastructure or other users' data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service or to circumvent rate limits
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission

5. Content

All challenges, text, graphics, mascots, logos and other materials provided through the Service ("Content") are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Content for personal entertainment within the Service.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works of the Content without our prior written permission.

Some Content (especially in Spicy and Hardcore modes) is intended for mature audiences. You play it at your own discretion and assume responsibility for choosing it in front of any specific group.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you confirm you have read it.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your Badjo account at any time:

  • From inside the app: Settings → Delete my account.
  • If you have uninstalled: use the form at badjo.app/delete-account.

Deletion is permanent and removes your stable user ID, your gameplay history's link to you, and any active sessions. See the Privacy Policy for what is retained in anonymised form. Deleting the account does not cancel an active store-side subscription — you must cancel that separately in Apple/Google settings.

8. Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users. Surviving provisions (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) remain in effect after termination.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that defects will be corrected. Game challenges are provided for entertainment only and are not professional advice (medical, psychological, legal or otherwise).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Badjo and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms exceed the amount you paid us for Badjo Premium in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Badjo and its developers from any claim, demand or expense arising out of your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice through the app or our website. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The competent courts of Ukraine have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, except that consumers in the EU may rely on mandatory protections of the laws of their country of residence.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply: these Terms are between you and Badjo, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, claims of non-conformance, product liability or third-party intellectual-property claims. You acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
